Submit Article

To have your manuscript taken into consideration for publication in Research and Education, it must be submitted through ScholarOne. Manuscripts sent via email or alternative channels cannot be processed.

Pre-submission checklist 

Before submitting your proposal, please confirm that:

  • the manuscript is original and not under consideration anywhere else;
  • all co-authors have agreed to the submission;
  • the manuscript follows the Instructions for Authors;
  • the required declarations (Funding, Declaration of Interests, Ethics approval and informed consent, Data availability, Use of AI, CRediT) are prepared;
  • the corresponding author has an active ORCID iD;
  • references follow APA 7th edition, with DOIs where available.

Indicative timelines 

  • Acknowledgement: 2 working days.
  • Desk decision: 7 to 10 working days.
  • First external decision: 8 to 12 weeks.
  • Revision and re-evaluation: 2 to 4 weeks.
  • Production and publication after acceptance: 4 to 6 weeks.
  • Submission to publication: 14 to 20 weeks.
